START ACTIVITY WEEK

The START Activity Week Manual was a collaboration with Sophie Dutton and was part of the Crtl+Alt+Shift campaign. The brief was to find a way to encourage young people to think differently about giving to charity. We decided to put the emphasis on positivity. We ran an activity week at our university campus which invited students to produce posters based on their experience of injustice. The posters were exhibited in the space and participants were encouraged to use the space as a discussion area. Every one who took part was given information about local charities and were added to our START facebook group where dialogue could continue and further information be found. The book was designed to be a manual for re-creating the Start Activity Week in other public spaces.
