RE-BUILDING BERLIN

These three books are my response to a week spent in Berlin in February '09. They are based on the reconstruction of the city after being almost completely destroyed in the Second World War.

My investigation included discovering what now stands in the place of some of the infamous Nazi buildings and how the contrasting ideologies of the communist and capitalist occupiers were reflected in the re-construction of East and West Berlin.
